About Us
There are an estimated 500,000 Street dogs (Satos) in Puerto Rico.
South Coast Sato Rescue,
"SCSR" is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization,
doing what we can to help these beautiful souls!
SCSR has helped to find forever homes for 50 Satos so far
and currently has 22 dogs and puppies available for adoption!
If you or someone you know is looking to adopt, can volunteer, foster in person (or virtually) or would like to donate, please help in any way you can!

One of our beautiful (up for adoption) 9 month old pups - Rocky - has a congenital heart problem
(vet believes to be patent ductus arteriosus)
and he desperately needs an echocardiogram to confirm the diagnosis.
If it is verified, he needs an expensive heart surgery as soon as possible.
With early surgical intervention, the outlook is very good for a normal, full life.
The longer the surgery is delayed, the more likely that irreversible heart damage will occur.

I'm just over one year old, have all my vaccines, and am spayed. I am very good with people, other dogs and cats too. Please take me home!

Hi... I'm Sunny and I am the happiest boy! I love everyone, everywhere and everything. I love to be with you all the time; sitting on the couch (or on you) or just hanging out in the yard. Be ready for me to climb right up on you when you sit or lay down... I love to cuddle. I am probably around 3 years old, have all my vaccines and have been neutered. I am housebroken, sit and come when asked but don't quite get the lay down on command thing yet.

Hi... I'm Rocky and I need a very special home! I have a congenital heart defect and need surgery so that I can live a full, normal life. Can you please help me by giving me a forever home or making a donation to help pay for my surgery? I am 7 months old and am otherwise very healthy. I like to leap high into the air and play with my brothers. I'm still growing, but already weigh 40 pounds.
